Notes:
This work was the maquette for the Large Running Bird that the artist produced in 1958 for the Contemporary Art Society's 'Religious Theme' exhibition held at the Tate Gallery, London. The Large Running Bird was in turn gifted by the Contemporary Art Sociaety to Sheffield City Museums and Art Galleries in 1962.
